JBL VX8 Program Upgrade Steps Description
New in JBL VX8 version 1.1
Return to Preset Setting
For the previous version, when VX8 is switched on, the device returns to setting just
before it is powered off. The new version is changed to when VX8 is switched on,
device returns to pre-determined preset setting.

Here is the procedure of upgrading VX8 from previous version:

1、 Use the data cable (Type-A to Type-B) to connect the VX8 machine to the computer.

2、 Hold down the ESC button on the VX8 machine panel, and then start the VX8 machine. The
"do not power off update" character is displayed on the screen.

3、 Open the upgrade tool "HidUpdateTool " on the PC, and the upgrade tool will
automatically connect to the VX8 machine, as shown in the following figure:

Currently, "Device is connected" is displayed. If "Device is not connected" is displayed, click

"Refresh connection".

5、 Click the upgrade tool interface "start upgrade", the progress bar to 100%, the device will be
disconnected, that is, the device has been connected to the state will be changed to the
device is not connected. In addition, the display interface of the VX8 machine is restored to
the initial screen, indicating that the upgrade is successful. Unplug the data cable and restart
it to use
